pappa noel brought some studded tires. in the past, i have taken some hard spills on the snow packed gravel roads, so it takes awhile to really believe that the studs will keep one upright. however, once one leaps that hurdle, they are really a blast!

You know I can't say I have ever heard of studded tires for a bike. It must be fun and well worth it. I rode last week in 30 degree weather in Northern CA and that was about all I could bear. Good luck with the studs I hope they helped.
